Added four more hunting pictures to the Exotic animals page and replaced a lot of old pictures in the livestock page. I am currently working on replacing a lot of the whitetail pictures next, so look forward to it!

Mayfield Ranch will now have a blog for posting up updates and any other news. This will hopefully get all the information to you as quickly as possible. I also hope it helps bring more interaction with the website.

This species of deer can be white, spotted, brown, or reddish brown with white spots. In the fall, the males have hard antlers with wide flat palmations. They are apt to develop 20-30 points. A large male will weigh 200 pounds while a female will weigh around 100 pounds. Cold or hot weather does not bother them. The bucks are gorgeous with great antlers.
